More gaps to fill....

Berlin (with Ken & Pia)
- Impressions: Very cool, big spread out city with modern buildings but still caught up in all the history
- Highlights: Berlin Wall; cycling tour; Norman Foster designed dome at The Reichstag (Berlin Parliament); Pergamon museum; scrumptious pork knuckle; currywurtz
- Lowlights: Sombre mood and felt like we shouldn't be smiling in photos out of respect at the Jewish museum and Topography of Terror outdoor museum
Yummy pork knuckle....more please!!
Checking in at the Wall
Topography of Terror Museum inside the Wall
Brandenburg Gate
Brighton
We took the opportunity on a sunny weekend to take a day trip down to London's closest beach, Brighton. It was another 'pleasant' day out in the UK. First time seeing people lay out their beach towels and deck chairs to sunbathe on the pebbles was a real novelty. Hey, at least we didn't have to worry about getting sand off our shoes!
